How this started

We wanted a drink that belongs at the table: properly made, properly interesting, and easy to say yes to.

Arakiko is for the night you stop explaining.

It's a sparkling drink from Wānaka, New Zealand with five ingredients that usually come as supplements. That's pretty much it. We're not going to tell you what they do. You've probably read about them already, and finding out for yourself is the better part.

For a long time an evening came two ways. One blurred the experience, and the other forced it. Either way you paid for it in the morning. With interest. Somewhere along the line the sharpest people in the room quietly stopped choosing between them. They didn't want less of the night. They wanted all of it, and the morning after.

So that's what we made. Five ingredients in, nothing of you taken out. The point is what’s in the glass, and staying true to who your are. The same person at midnight as at eight in the morning.

Our founders

Arakiko is made by Wanaka locals who wanted a drink with some craft in it: a clean lemon and lime taste, five considered ingredients, and nothing to explain.

No. It's the drink you have when you don't want an energy drink, or an alcoholic drink.
No alcohol and no caffeine. Under 1g of sugar per 330mL can.
Whenever you like. It’s good over ice with a slice of lemon or lime, at dinner or mid-afternoon.
It has a botanical base including, lemon balm and ashwagandha and theanine, plus magnesium and B6. These ingredients are more commonly found in the supplement isle. We decided it was time they were put in a drink.
